Planet London are delighted to announce their media sponsorship of GFEST 2014.

GFEST is London's leading LGBTQI cross-arts festival.

GFEST is produced by Wise Thoughts, an arts charity. GFEST features both established and fresh young artists and queer talent working across the arts. Events include art exhibition, performances, films screening, Debates and Events. The arts and cultural festival also helps profile human rights issues and makes a creative case for ‘Equality in all walks of life.’

GFEST 2014's theme for 2014 is Myths & Mythology.

The 2014 programme, incorporating the theme provides breathtaking works, thought provoking feature and short films, paintings, video installation and photographic works along with cabaret acts as well as South Asian dance works.


Planet London's very own Katie Bennett-Hall will be reading at the 'L is For...' event on Thursday 13th October at Bar Titania (6.00pm - 7.30pm) alongside Angela Peach, Clare Lydon and Karen Campbell.

An interesting fact about GFEST:In 2009, over 100 artists took part in GFEST, with over 4,000 people attending events. The launches of GFEST 2008 and 2009 took place at the Palace of Westminster making it the first ever LGBT arts initiative to be launched at the House of Commons.
